YOUTH OF POWER
Youth of Power (Y.O.P.) is our youth group here at Jehovah Jireh Christian Ministries. Presently we meet biweekly. Along with a devotional time we have fun using the Recreational Facilities on the church property.
Youth of Power is for those of ages 12+ who desire to experience the power of the one true God in their lives. It is our goal to develop the whole person. We desire to see a younger generation set on fire for God in all their lives. This will be accomplished with godly role modeling and mentoring. This involves having adults engaging and helping with our youth. Our youth will engage and mingle with the rest of the church body. They will be a part of the many regular activities of the fellowship.
We will continue to establish a safe environment which promotes growth spiritually, emotionally, and socially. We are training up leaders. We want to see young people worship, pray, and share their Christian faith today and be able to meet their full potential for the rest of their adult life. We want them to be a positive influence and witness to the world they live in.
Aspirations
- Experiencing the power of God’s Word in our lives
- Sharing and encouraging one another more
- Having a personal prayer life and praying with and for one another
- Further development of fun and interactive recreation for all
- To become more numerous than the adult believers in our fellowship
