(Eph. 1:3-5, 11 ) “For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.” Rom. 8:29 “Your eyes have seen my unborn substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them.” Psalm 139:16 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death.” Acts 2:22-23 “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19 The Lord has predestined us to be His children, yet He has given us freewill and so we must choose to surrender to Christ and obey Holy Spirit. Jesus’ prayers for us are powerful. Just like He prayed for His disciples, He has prayed that our faith will not fail us. And even though we fall, He will hear our cry of repentance and restore us. May we cooperate with Holy Spirit daily.
